Gospel Meets Classical

Collaboration of Music Community Groups

Gospel goes classical is a collaboration project of 3 community music groups: Endcliffe Orchestra, Unity Choir and Dronfield Henry Fanshaw School Choir.  The project celebrates the unity of both classical and gospel music with a fusion of both genres composed by JoAnne Sibanda.

Join JoAnne on her musical journey of self-discovery and professional development. This project showcases the creativity, skills, and experience JoAnne continues to develop as she interacts with other musical enthusiasts around the world.

Gospel Goes Classical

Collaboration of Music Community Groups

As a music student based in Sheffield, JoAnne Sibanda is always looking for opportunities to develop her technical skills and collaborate with creative professionals.   As a freelance musician and composer JoAnne continues to find ways in connecting people together through music.

Final Year Special Project

JoAnne Sibanda

'Special Project' module is a final year project which a university student has the opportunity to create.  The Special Project module takes the student out of the norm of performance, composition and dissertation, and gives the opportunity to organise an event from start to finish. This module also allows the student to work outside the walls of the university and interact with people who are currently employed in the music industry.  For this project JoAnne chose to work within the Sheffield Community Music Groups.
